The 1992 Piano per Genova exhibition opened on Saturday 5th November at the GiglioBagnara Department Store in Genova Sestri.
The exhibition, curated by architects Antonio Lavarello and Emanuele Piccardo with architect Maria Montolivo, represents a journey into the complex relationship between city and port, through the discovery of drawings, photographs and other unpublished documents that will illustrate the central role of Renzo Piano, but also that of the mayor Fulvio Cerofolini, who was the first to understand the importance of re-connecting the historic center with the old port area.
The exhibition is accompanied by a publication by the plug_in publishing house (www.plugin-lab.it).
