Boris Hamzeian's second book dedicated to the history of the Center Pompidou has been released. After "Centre Pompidou. Live Center of Information", which recounts the genesis of Beaubourg, from the original idea of President Georges Pompidou to the presentation of the winning project in 1971, "Centre Pompidou. La sfida del total design" focuses on genesis and development of its fundamental components. Tracing the evolution of these components represents the key to understanding that holistic approach to design that goes by the name of Total Design.
The volume, published by LetteraVentidue and created by Artiva Design, was released in Italian and is available for purchase in Italian bookstores and in Italian Switzerland.
The French and English editions will follow. More info here.
