RPBW partner Luigi (Gigi) Priano, who co-led the teams who designed the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, will share RPBW building process, in collaboration with Gensler, as they worked to design and build a museum that preserves and breathes new life into the former 1939 May Company department store, now re-named the Saban Building. ⁠

He will sign the book Renzo Piano Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, Los Angeles, published by the Renzo Piano Foundation. The book documents the creation of the Academy Museum, the world’s premier movie museum, through drawings, models, documents, pictures and words of protagonists, collected and edited by Lia Piano.⁠
