THROUGH THE HISTORY.
THE ARCHITECTURE OF
RENZO PIANO AND
THE BUILDING WORKSHOP
Renzo Piano built his first experimental structures in 1964. In over 50 years of professional adventures, many meetings, occasions and collaborations have inflected his work. These stories have the ambition to go beyond individual buildings, and to recount the thread running through them and relating one project to another.
They explain the importance of ties with others, sometimes true friendships with engineers, musicians and clients, or they dwell on certain occasions unfairly seen as minor, relating in a simple and engaging language the complexity of the architect’s profession.
