The purpose of the intervention was to restore the purity of the housing's primary function, leaving the resident with the responsibility for the functional and aestetic definition of the space inside. The space had to be open to any interpretation. By reinforcing the roofing with a steel lattice girder, it was possible to create an internal space with no structural constraints, with the same width as the front of the building (15 mt).
