The building is designed and built in the same years as the Center Pompidou (1971-77) and it rapresents a small-scale general test in view of the Beaubourg.The offices of B & B Italia in Novedrate, near Como, share a lot with the Centre Georges Pompidou: the structure of prefabricated elements; the completely open plan; the expressive and playful use of color; the structure and service components arranged on the outside, surrounding the building like a second case and crossing the structure.
