Renovation and expansion of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

Renovation and expansion of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

The expansion designed by RPBW adds a precious piece to the main nucleus of the famous museum that in 1903 the patron Isabella Stewart Gardner wanted in Boston. The new exhibition galleries are served by a generous glazed atrium which, opened on the Evans Way Park, constitutes the new entrance to the museum, reorganizing the visit path and considerably increasing the surfaces for collateral activities.
