Since 2007, the Renzo Piano Foundation has undertaken the publication of a series of monographs devoted to Renzo Piano and the Renzo Piano Building Workshop’s projects. The volumes are designed, edited and produced by the Foundation.
The publication of the monographs is part of the work of reorganizing the documentation, which makes it possible to valorize drawings and sketches largely unpublished. The history of each project is reconstructed chronologically, from the first visit to the site to the inauguration of the building , through sketches, drawings, models, annotations and site memories.
The story of Renzo Piano and the testimonies of the protagonists are recorded and faithfully transcribed. The monographs of the Foundation are proposed as travel journals that accompany the reader in every phase of that extraordinary adventure that is the construction of a building.
The Foundation’s publications are distributed in Italy, Europe and the United States by a network of distributors [See list].
